What Is Daxxify™
Daxxify™ is a prescription medicine for adults that is injected into muscles to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines).

DAXXIFY™ lasts on average 6 months and up to 9 months for some.*

Between 3% and 5% of patients in clinical studies had no or minor frown lines 9 months after treatment. In other safety studies, between 5% and 17% of patients still had noticeable improvement 9 months later.
What Is Daxxify™ Used For?

Daxxify is a relatively new neuromodulator that has been gaining popularity in the cosmetic industry. It is theonly peptide-powered, purified botulinum toxin type A product that works by blocking the nerve signals that cause muscle contractions. This results in a temporary relaxation of the muscles, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Daxxify is a prescription-only medication that must be administered by a licensed medical professional.
How is Daxxify Different than Botox?
One of the key differences between Daxxify and Botox is their formulation. Daxxify is a smaller molecule than Botox, which means that it may diffuse more easily and provide a more natural-looking result. Additionally, some patients may find that Daxxify has a faster onset of action than Botox, with results appearing in as little as 24 hours after treatment.
Expected Results
In most cases patients can expect to see a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines after treatment with Daxxify. Results typically last for up to six months and as long as nine months for some. After which time another treatment session will be necessary to maintain the results. Daxxify can be used to treat a variety of cosmetic concerns, including frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead lines.
